Looking For A Quick Answer?

Where have Nephos and BigID worked together already?

In our joint go to market model, Nephos and BigID have already partnered to deliver for customers like Barclays Bank (long-term professional services engagement) and SwissRE (operational managed service). 

Additionally our flagship customer is Omnicom where Nephos delivers the end-to-end governance capability using BigID for discovery classification capabilities across circa 100PB of data.

Can we partner for existing customers?

Absolutely - Nephos works alongside BigID to support new use case development and delivery in existing BigID customers. 

This could be to facilitate new projects or use cases, or to support customer turn-round where the customer needs support in driving value from the platform, or optimising what they have. 

Will Nephos sell BigID licenses?

The short answer is yes, outside of our services engagements, Nephos can deliver BigID license sales either as a traditional resell model, or under the MSSP model.

Can Nephos work through hyperscaler marketplaces?

Yes, but for now this is limited to Microsoft Marketplace and the MPO programme model.

What regions can you support?

Our team are based in the UK, with offshore technical resources to facilitate our Operate service. 

We support global customers that have presence in every region from those teams.

Can we work together on new prospects?

Nephos would welcome the opportunity to work together and co-sell new business opportunities. 

In our experience, co-sell opportunities with all of our partners are faster, stickier and generally have a higher deal value. 

We know this can be counter-intuitive when you're goaled on license sales, but if we get it right together the prize is bigger and better!

What's the deal flow if we want to leverage Nephos services?

We've made this simple. There are two scenarios:

  1. Net New Customer: if the customer is net new and Nephos are providing the licenses as well as service we would ideally transact directly with the customer. You get your license subscriptions as you would with any other resell partner. 

  2. Existing BigID Customer: if the customer is already a BigID customer, and the route is preferable, Nephos will sell our services to BigID, who can then bundle the offer to the customer. 

How much do Nephos services cost?

Pricing for services varies depending on the scope of the engagement. 

Operate services are based on a minimum annual contract term, whilst professional services are delivered through a defined scope of works, delivered via BigID.

Nephos has a clear scoping process to make sure that pricing is accurate, and there are clear deliverables that meet the customers requirement. Our scoping process follows these steps:

  1. Step 1: Short discovery call to understand the ask

  2. Step 2: Customer scoping workshop - this is usually around 2 hours in duration, following which we will book a follow up with the customer to replay our understanding and talk through a proposed approach 

  3. Step 3: ROM Proposal - if the requirements are clear and we are aligned with the customer, we'll provide a ROM proposal with rough costs before providing a full SoW

  4. SoW: if the commercials look to be agreeable Nephos will provide BigID with a SoW that they can mark up accordingly and provide to the customer for approval

 

What engagements are a bad fit to engage on?

  • Engagements where there is no defined scope or outcome that we can measure performance against

  • Customers that are expecting low cost, generalist offshore resources

  • Custom integration development work for BigID

  • Customers that are looking for Staff augmentation or a dedicated individual "warm body"

  • Customers that are looking for short-term time and materials engagements e.g. the customer wants to buy 3 days of engineering resource 

How does your Operate service differ to BigID Concierge?

Nephos' Operate service provides operational management of the BigID platform.

Nephos Operate is an ITIL aligned service, backed by a contracted set of SLA's that the customer can count on. The service is delivered by a team of expert Operators.

No credits, no usage caps and a clearly scoped engagement model.
